WEBSITE ANALYSIS |
How does your website or web application shape up when it comes to being optimized? What is involved in our site analysis process? How do we determine if your site is designed properly in order for it to be optimized for best results in search engine listings? A detailed website analysis is crucial to effective optimization and serves as a site diagnosis for areas needing improvement.
The analysis process will evaluate four critical areas of your website:
1. Construction - The construction of the site refers to how the site is put together, whether it conforms to specific construction guidelines and whether it uses frames.
2. Links - Links are currently the single most important component that a search engine uses to rank a website. Incoming links (links to your web page from another website), are highly valued by search engines and are weighed in three categories: popularity, relevance, & link text. 3. Navigation - A simple and easy navigation structure is critical. Most search engines cannot read Java or JavaScript based navigation controls and it is best practice to have at least one complete set of navigation links in plain HTML on every page. 4. Keywords - Perhaps the most critical area. Keywords are specific categorized words that the search engines will index and enter into databases. Choosing the appropriate keyword is one of the most important things that is done for proper website search engine optimization. |
